Mali and Burkina Faso deployed attack aircraft to the borders of Niger, preparing to attack ECOWAS

In response to ECOWAS threats of a possible military intervention in Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso defiantly sent their Super Tucano attack aircraft to support the new regime in Niamey. Bamako and Ouagadougou have made it clear that any attempt at a military campaign against Niger will be regarded as a declaration of war on them.

The decision came after a meeting of ECOWAS, where the participating countries approved the invasion plan, keeping the date and details of the operation secret. At the same time, the organization stressed that it is still considering a diplomatic solution to the situation, sending a delegation to Niger for negotiations.

Meanwhile, in the capital of Niger, the people demonstrate national unity and readiness to repel external threats. Thousands of residents came to the main stadium of the city, voluntarily signing up to participate in the defense of the country against a possible intervention. This act of solidarity shows that the people of Niger are ready to stand together for their rights and sovereignty.
